Get To Know Megan Dvorkin
From her complicated coffee order to her favorite Instagram filter and everything in between, our co-founder Megan Dvorkin answers some questions to get to know her better.
How’d you get to where you are now?
My journey began in May of 2013 when I graduated from Frostburg State University. Since then, I’ve had a few experiences leading me to where I am now. Here’s a quick look -

Is what you’re doing now what you thought you’d be doing when you were a kid?
Not at all. Like most kids, I wanted to be a Marine Biologist.
What was your first job?
My first job was at a catering company called Absolutely Perfect Catering. I set up, broke down, and worked on the events.
Have you worked with any major brands?
Yes! While at Planit and GKV, I had the opportunity to work with some major brands including Mally Beauty, AGCO, Royal Building Products, Donna Morgan, Gourmet Garden, Kitchen Basics, Back to Nature, and SnackWell's.
Where is your favorite place to work?
Anywhere that's quiet. Usually, I prefer being at home because I can control the environment but Ceremony Coffee Roasters in Harbor Point is where I go if I’m looking for a change of scenery.
When you’re not working, how do you spend your time?
When I’m not working, I’m usually working out, traveling, at a concert or enjoying the company of my friends and family.
Which social platform is your favorite?
I have been and always will be a sucker for Twitter. I like how quickly things move and I appreciate that there’s a limit on characters, makes things short, sweet and to the point (usually).
Which Instagram filter is your favorite?
I’m team Ludwig, at least for now.
Which emoji do you use most?
Oh, that’s tough. It’s a close tie between 🙌 and 😂.
Where is your happy place?
Wherever I’m with my husband, friends, or family.
Which song makes you unconditionally happy?
Three Little Birds by Bob Marley.
How do you like your coffee?
Mocha with skim, please! If it’s hot out, iced. If it’s cold out, hot. If it’s the morning, a double shot is fine, but if it’s late, a single shot is a must.
Where is your favorite spot in Baltimore?
Fells Point. It’s quaint, charming and local.
What is your biggest accomplishment?
My biggest personal accomplishment is running a half marathon. My biggest professional accomplishment is this company.
What’s next?
Keep working and growing the company! Currently, we have ten clients, I’d like to be to fifteen before the end of 2019. I’d also like to hire our first employee soon. Stay tuned!
